The night she almost drowned,
the lifeguard found a blade in her hand.
She said it was her best friend,
the only thing that understood.
And he told her that everyone is like a ship

You wake up every morning
and tuck yourself into bed every night.
When you take another breath,
you are pushing yourself towards another second.
Don’t throw away the hard work
